Acclaimed internationally for his portraits of pop culture icons, Ron Chadwick's work has a distinctive style. He uses oils and acrylics to produce his paintings.
Celebrities have counted amongst his clientele and exhibitions have attracted a wide audience. His portraits exude life and character and through his use of colour and technique he captures the personality behind the public persona, for example, the portrait of Miles Davis (available in print). The list of icons Ron has painted include; Marilyn Monroe, Muhammed Ali, The Beatles, Kate Moss, and Pat Evans (among many others).
Paintings are displayed in various venues throughout Britain and his latest exhibition took place in the Horsebridge Arts and Community Centre in Whitstable. A painting of Marilyn Monroe features in a book by Roger G Taylor entitled Marilyn in Art. |
